About SoulStride
Soulstride was born from two simple beliefs: living your dream life is possible, and you don’t have to get there alone. As children, we see the world in color. We dream of becoming explorers, artists, and writers. We wake up excited for the day ahead, try without overthinking, and explore without fear. But somewhere along the way, the colors start to fade. Work, expectations, and responsibilities take over. Maybe you begin to think but this is just world we live in, right?
At SoulStride we believe in a different reality. In a world where dreams don’t have an expiration date, and where your life isn’t something you need a holiday from. In fact, there are no real rules for how you’re allowed to live. Just beliefs. And if you gently let go of the ones that hold you back and find your own stride, completely new paths become possible.
Of course, knowing this and living it are two different things, and that’s where community matters. We grow when we hear our own story reflected in someone else’s, when we say things out loud for the first time, when someone asks us a question we didn’t know we needed. If you feel ready to challenge the status quo and embrace a new path, SoulStride is here to walk with you.
About me
Hi! I’m Virag Fodor, the founder of Soulstride. I grew up with a researcher’s mindset: stay curious, ask questions, always try to understand. During my years in academia, I learned a lot about the human mind: how emotions work, how our brains interpret (and often distort) the world around us, and how we make decisions. After completing my master’s, I knew a lot about theories, yet very little about life.
So while my friends were applying for PhDs, I built a campervan and set off to travel across Europe. Stepping outside of the academic bubble and onto an unconventional road taught me many things that are left out of textbooks. Most importantly, it reinforced my belief that limitations are often self-imposed. We are the creators of our own stories. You can choose your next chapters, reinvent yourself completely, and go after your dreams wholeheartedly. There are no rules that say you must follow a predetermined script, stay in an unfulfilling place, or live life a certain way.
Today, I am helping others step onto their own unique path. I am still living in my van. I still see the world with a researcher’s eyes: curious about the mind, asking questions at every turn, seeking new tools and approaches that make meaningful change possible. But instead of doing this all from a laboratory, alone, I am doing it with you. In real conversations, real workshops, real life.
If this resonates, I’d love to connect.
